Cloudless is built on one promise: we cannot see your money, because your data never leaves your iPhone. This policy explains exactly what that means.
Nothing. Cloudless has no servers, no user accounts, no sign-up, and no analytics. We do not collect, transmit, store, sell, or share any personal data. The app works fully offline — even in airplane mode.
If you export a backup, it is encrypted on your device with AES-256-GCM using a passphrase only you know, and saved to a location you choose (for example your own iCloud Drive or Files). We never receive or transmit your backups, and we cannot decrypt them.
Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store (StoreKit). Apple handles all payment information; we never see your payment details, name, or Apple ID. We use no third-party purchase or analytics SDKs. Apple's own privacy policy applies to payment processing: apple.com/legal/privacy.
Cloudless does not knowingly collect data from anyone — including children — because it collects no data at all.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted at this address with a new effective date. Because the app's architecture has no data collection, any future change could only make this policy more detailed — not less private — without an explicit in-app notice.
